Is everyone still watching?

I thought this season sucked big time.

The writing was terrible and the acting seems to have gotten worse.

All of the conversations are drawn out, contrived and waaaaaay too dramatic.
I still watch. A few episodes this season were a little drawn out, but overall not bad. Constantly killing off major characters is getting kind of old though.

The only episodes that are any good are the ones where someone dies.

Totally agree, the sickness should have lasted one episode as it was obvious no one important was going to die. And it was infuriating to watch for me. Gee a bunch of people are deathly ill and when they die they turn into man eating killers, we're in a jail, but NO reason to lock those sick people in the damn cells.

I'm not sure what kind of storylines can be exciting other than finding a new a new bad guy every season.
I'm not a reader of the graphic novels but I believe their next move is to go to Fort Benning, GA and try nto recreate what they had at the prison.

I've also heard the graphic novel has an enemy(ies) known as "The Hunters" and they think the group will start falling prey to them.

I've liked this season although I agree with someof the obvious missed precations such as locking deathly sick people into cells.
The latest episode was very good, with the Governor taking the sword to Hershel and then Michonne taking
the sword to the Governor. Bringing the Tank to the prison was a nice touch. I guess they
have to be close to Benning or will else did they get that Tank?

Said on Talking Dead that it was 60's era M60 tank from Vietnam that some guy had I think as a collector.

So that is where the production staff found the Tank? I was thinking
more about as it relates to the episode.

Side note, when I was at Benning we had Russian tanks on the Range that we used for target practice. Even as an 11B we got to play around with Tanks, really fun to drive them.

Dont watch Game of Thrones

But about the acting. Im tired of Rick. Its a mixture between his character sucking and his acting being awful. The whole we can all live together in this jail scene was very hard to watch
I feel like he is trying so hard to use an American accent that it just takes everything away from his acting.

I think the character Mitch said a few episode ago that he left his post and took off with the tank when things started getting thick with the zombies. He may have said he was stationed at Fort Benning. Can't remember precisely.
Some of the episodes this first half were extremely slow. The show's at it's peak when there is constant action. It's like they save their budget and use it all in one or two episodes.

These writers suck at trying to develop characters too, making their insistence to have tons of dialogue annoying. Plus, there's only a couple of likable characters.

I still watch, but the really strong episodes are few and far between.

Not enough Daryl the last part of the first half of the season.
I'm glad they blew up the prison. That place was making the show lame. So much better when they have to be on the run.

The thing with the superflu was lame. I looks like now the group will be all split up and running for their lives trying to find each other. Sets up some good drama for the next half of the season.

Overall, that last episode was probably the best of the season.
Oh yeah. And Rick should do way less talking and more stalking around shooting zombies in the face.
I know it's a TV show, but why would they not just setup shop in a neighborhood in the suburbs. All these people roaming around in RV's kills me. Damn there are plenty of houses to choose from.

When they are all full of rotted food, dead people, and zombies? No thanks. I'd rather camp out.
Make to the coast and find a nice island would be my goal. If I ever become homeless, you can bet I wouldn't be living in a shelter in some cold city. To the beach for me!

Find some gated community with mansions, kill all the zombies (like they did at the prison) and bingo, much nicer digs.

A la Zombieland.

That's the best part of watching those shows/movies dreaming of living through the Zombie apocalypse.
