Stellar Defense Leads Spiders Over James Madison

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. – Senior Cedrick Lindsay's 14 points led five Spiders in double-figures and Richmond held James Madison to 30 percent shooting in a 68-53 win in the Robins Center on Saturday night.
Richmond (6-2) won its third-straight game, having held the opposition to 60 points or less in the last three contests. The Spiders forced James Madison until 30 percent shooting from the field and an 0-of-16 from behind the arc. Richmond blocked a season-high seven shots.
