Yep its in the times on line well good luck to the other five teams on getting a bowl invite. We need at least three teams to go bowling.
You guys should go ahead and forfeit next week so you will be healthy for the bowl and so nobody offers Hudspeth a job! :)
Hud's not going anywhere did you see the game tonight.

One reason I'm not heartbroken right now. He'll be here for a senior and talent-laden team again next year.

I agree we met a ULM team with nothing to lose and they played lights out. They won the turn over battle which usually leads to a victory. Hats off to them We still have two games to go and yes I too feel Hud will be back to coach a very loaded team.
What happened tonight is one reason Hud hasn't gotten any serious looks from the SEC schools.

I don't think it was HUD's fault, Broadway made three bad decisions and ULM played with a purpose some fans can say what they want but this is a rivalry. But hey we're still going bowling making reservations 4 weeks ago paid off.

I think a strong argument can be made that Hud isn't exactly able to win big games.

He was beaten by the worst SEC team in years. He lost to a decent K-State. He struggled against WKU for part of the game and then this.

I think Hud has a serious issue getting players motivated. The fact that he has put quite a bit of talent on the field has been a saving grace for him.

If we had a coach who could motivate his kids and have them ready when the clock starts, well, the Arkansas and K-State games would have been games because the talent matched up decently well.

We could still be shocked in a week or two so I wouldn't go so far as to say he's not getting any serious looks.

Having said that, I think he's done an excellent job and he's the right guy at the right time for the program. I'd like to see him stick around for at least a few more years to get us to the next level and I honestly believe the Cajuns are headed that way.

Hud accepted full responsibility for tonight's loss and that's what a quality coach does. Don't blame the kids, they are afterall, kids.

Good win Warhawks. You close out the season with the sweet taste of victory.

I agree; I think he's the right man for right now.

The program is really starting to come alive.

Honestly, I think he's good enough to get the program up and moving. I just don't think he is an all around great coach.

Sure couldn't coach it like you or I could he? 03-lmfao

With the exception of the ULM game Hud has won every game he was suppose to this year. K-State has bounced back and Arkansas started 3-0 before there collapse. You win some you lose some I too hope HUD stays a couple of more years he is motivating and a heck of a recruiter.

I'm pretty sure there were a number of prognosticators who had UL picked to split the first two games.

Yea I was one of them thought we had a shot at both games oh well.

They played really well against both. The problem was similar to the WKU game, flat starts.

The difference was the talent level couldn't bail them out against those two.

And I'd say those two NO Bowl wins were pretty darned big too....at least they were for me. I can't watch that last second field goal against San Diego State without feeling the emotions build inside.

While I don't want to see Hud leave now, if he can continue to help the athletic department build the Cajun program for a few more years, then it won't matter when he does decide to move on because the program will have momentum, facilities, name recognition, etc.

Hud moves on and we find an even better diamond in the rough.

I think we are a couple of years away but if we are going to make a serious push for recognition next year is it. We will have a seasoned crew with Hud's first true senior class. We play three good OC games with an attendance game against Southern could make for a very good year.
I want them to win that Ole Miss game more than anything. The program needs a win against an SEC squad.

Well just glad we in a position that we don't have to sweat out a bowl invitation. I don't envy any of the other bowl eligible SBC teams no one wants to sit at home. They all have a valiant case for a bowl bid.
