I do chuckle a bit about the "bowl eligible" thing--i get that we can't say "4 straight bowls" just yet, but that bullet point just means we won at least 6 games 4 years in a row, which in a 12-game season could mean 6-6, like CMU. Some schools probably would be very thankful to have 6-win seasons but I like to think our standards are a bit higher here. BUT.. one of many things I am thankful for is that I can be a Rocket fan.

I'd be real thankful for a MACC.

I'm very thankful that Campbell is signed thru 2017...

I am thankful for the Rockets. I love being a Rocket fan, but I'm not "thankful" for any of those things, because those 4 things should be givens for our program.

Thankful for winning at least 6 games? We should be playing for the MACC every year
Thankful for a contract extension for a 2nd year HC?
Thankful for an overdue renovation?
Thankful to beat that awful team to the south? We should never lose to them...ever...at anything

I'm thankful that I can expect more from our team. I'm thankful for this board of like minded Rockets. I'm thankful for my University, and thankful for everything the young men and women athletes do for us fans, win or lose.

I'm thankful Beckman left before he and his program imploded.

I am thankful I got to watch all the great seniors for a great career and that all of us will get to watch Kareem Hunt and Damien Jones-Moore run for 3 more years!!!

I am thankful that I have Rocket basketball and short term memory loss.

But I agree with all the previous posters on what they are thankful for also.

I"m thankful it's midnight and we can focus on FB@ Akron.

its a good start

I was still disappointed with the 2004 & 2005 seasons.
although it was a great win in the MACC in 2004 against Miami.
Sucked the way that season began. And bowl loss to UCONN really topped my disappointment.

And losses in 2005 to Fresno St, NIU and CMU really sucked.

I'm really waiting for our "dream" season.

ROcket Football hasn't been a source of tremendous thanksgiving.
But we can and should all look to the other (important) things to be thankful!
