EMU travels to Mt. Pleasant, a city once the butt of late night jokes: "It is neither mountainous nor pleasant."

A loss Friday would be an unPleasant end to a very disappointing season.

Best I can say, it is better to sit home watching a football game for free than spending like a drunken sailor on Black Friday.

Other than being the last game for our seniors, I don't know what else to say about the game.
I'll be up there. Not expecting a W, but anything can happen.... Sort of.
Of course this season has been closer to Murphy's law than any other cliche.
A chance to spoil CMU's bowl hopes and the Michigan MAC trophy. I know I'm reaching but at least we're playing for something.
I think it's fair to say EMU/WMU/UMass are all in the same caliber. CMU is clearly a considerable step better than these 3 teams.

However, we throttled UMass 37-0 and escaped with a 27-22 win against WMU. It just depends on who shows up for CMU. If we turn it over 5 times, we probably lose. We have a bowl game and Michigan MAC trophy to play for. There is no reason to lose but EMU likes to play their best against us.
The perfect end to a WTF season. It wouldn't surprise me if they win. It wouldn't surprise me if the lose 56-0.

Beating the chimps is always sweet, but if we lose I'm not that upset. Six or seven MAC teams going to a bowl is good for the conference. And it keeps Enos in place, which I think is good for us (mediocre coach at best...)

Well said! Although it would be nice to spoil the Chimps' bowl chances.

I have a feeling we are going to get blown out, but I had the same feeling against WMU too, so who knows?

That's the gameplan for EMU..
The Michigan MAC trophy would be a nice way for these Seniors to go out.
My prediction is CMU 45, EMU 20. Close in the first half. Should be cold, but not as cold and windy as last week, which was absolutely frigid. 03-phew

That's a pretty good prediction based on the points per game average in EMU games this season. However, this isn't just any game. I am going to go against my better judgment (if you hadn't thrown down the gauntlet I would have predicted about the same score you have) and say EMU wins 38-31 and brings home the Michigan MAC trophy.

I'll be the pessimist.

EMU comes out as flat as flat can be. CMU will come out to play.

CMU by 3 TDs.
