Any team with a QB is a tough game for Troy. Hoping for a win.

Lucky for you, we just happen to have a QB with broken wrist on his throwing arm and one of those kids from the playground that thinks he could play QB but in reality he couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat (and don't you dare bring up the fact that the boat might be sitting on the trailer in the backyard)
Hope Troy knows what this game means...
If we win we have a GREAT shot at a bowl. Especially if Ole Miss beats Miss State.
What we have working for us is ticket sales... We have a great history at selling tickets to bowls.... Birmingham would be licking their chops!
Troy has opened as a 6 point favorite... Will be interesting to see if the line stays the same or what.
All I know is attendance is going to blow!
Heck most if my friends who never miss a game, can't make it because of family events going on
Troy will be well-represented. The crowd might not be big, but it'll be there for the team and the seniors.

It will Mainly be just us die hards which is fine. We are typically the louder ones.

I hope Jones does not play. Need him healthy for next year. Start Duke if needed. Looking forward to the game, even if I have to remember its on a Friday.

I was appalled with Fran's post game comment about asking Jones if he thought he should play and everyone gave him the thumbs up. You don't ask an 18 yr old kid that, you make the call. Has he not been coaching long enough to know fractures do not heal in a week? It's a minimal 6 weeks for full recovery, for most any fracture. The training staff should know this too.
It was an awful thing to do, not only to Jones but the team as a whole. I would rather he went with Duke than jeopardize his long term career. He is not going to be ready this week either but I'd bet my house he sends him out there.

Unfortunately I will not be making the trip. I told myself I'd go to Troy if we beat Ark State, but we all know how that went.

I think there's a few teams who would have to do us a favor by not winning anymore and leaving a spot for us. We are the new kids and could be a risk to a bowl, especially one outside Texas. At least we could be a warm body with a broken hand QB?
