In non-exhibition games they are 2-3. They lost to LaTech 100-49 in what was for them an exhibition game. Last game they started 6-7, 6-5, 6-1 across the front line.

(These stats do not include the LaTech game.) They shoot well overall (48.6), but not from the arc (31.2). Two of their starters shoot over 66% from the field. Their defense, at least at their level, is excellent (39% and 30%). They are even on the boards and take good care of the ball. Four players in double figures. They have only two real 3-point threats.

We should see an old friend Tuesday. Tre'von Wilkerson has played in all five games, averaging 16 minutes per. Evidently their back-up point.

Isn't Cicic with the team too?
He is not listed on the roster on the official site.

Cicic was asked by the coach to join the team but when they checked into it further they found he was not eligible to play this year.
I hope their coach will let Tre'von start, and I hope our folks give him a nice hand.

Can't recall ever hearing that name. Did he ever get on the court here, or is he another of those that Shields has brought in here that couldn't play at this level?
He was a walk-on for one year, and I do not think he ever got on the court.
If it doesn't turn completely playground, this is the kind of a game where someone like Stetson might find his shot.
BTH says Isom will be starting, along with Isler. Assuming Isler is playing the 3, that means Isom, instead of a 4 as was mentioned before the season began, is now regarded as a 2, which makes the log jam at that position even bigger.
It also means that Isom will be 6 inches taller than the man guarding him.

Note the two Youtube spots of Will and James.

I would think Isler would be playing the two and Isom the three. But where is Josh? He just had arguably the best game of his career. Maybe he's starting at the point with Thomas possibly hurt. I'll bet that's the way it's playing out.04-cheers
BTH lists Thomas and Isom as starters at the guards.

So much for my theory!01-lauramac2
It would be ironic if this D2 game were the one that jump-started this team to a good season, but it could happen. We got the emotional high of the Southern game, and now we have one where we can get a lot of the kinks worked out without worrying too much about losing.

This is one of those games where it is not so much what you do (assuming you will win) as how you do it. You want to execute well, look sharp, and get to practice the things you might not have opportunity for against the better teams.
