I was in the 8th-ish row 30ish yard line. Dwight Dasher was replaced by a cyborg that night. (Beast mode)^2. Also distinctly remember good games by Desmond "Ping Pong" Gee and Danny "the Anvil" Carmichael. 03-cloud9
I've met Gee...he's little but he hits a hole at 1000mph.
I was there. Awesome effort by the Blue Raiders. Made me proud.

Had a hell of good time on Bourbon Street before and after the game. Met some very gracious Southern Miss fans. Glad MT is now in a conference with them.
Still my number 1 moment as a fan.
Last time MT played Southern Miss...will seem like a 1 pt. loss come Sat.
Watched it on TV with my son. When we got down early & it looked like we might get blown out I told him, this team isn't going to quit....you watch.

My son plays high school football now and used that game on the sidelines this year to remind his friends what can happen when you are down 14-0 and get off the deck together & fight back. They ended up winning that game and finished the regular season undefeated.

Football is as much about determination & perserverance as talent. That's why we can't overlook USM this weekend. This could be the Saturday USM decides its time to get off the deck & fight. Cornered animals are dangerous.

No need for MT's coaches to get dramatic. Eagles have enjoyed laying down and spreading wide open. Enjoy the rape....errrrr consensual meeting.
I dunno. the offense moved the ball on the first possession.

(it's not in me to start a live game thread)
never mind. more of the same.

I just hope our defense can hold it together... 03-banghead

No better defense to light up against. Soft coverage, missed tackles, and whatnot... 03-puke

And there it is. The Eagles' TD... ugh
This referee at the MT-USM game sounds like he's falling asleep as he talks...
I hope USM gets this win, they need to get that monkey off their back. I guess it was all coach perots fault.
Outgained 147 to 32 in the first qtr. Streak will probably end today.
