Looking forward to seeing that game on TV (directTV 659 I think). Hope we do as well or better against them as we did against DaU.
SunBelt now sits as #19 ranking of conferences (out of 33). Hopefully starting tonight we start getting some big wins and take care of games vs. other mid-major teams.

Ouch !
This is what I was afraid of tonight. We are overmatched in this one. I hope we got a decent check for this butt kicking.

Wow, just Wow! 04-jawdrop
In the first 10-12 minutes this game was decided. We couldn't hit anything and WVU missed nothing. I think we were down 38-11 with about 8 minutes to go in half. Since that point we have played them much more competitively but to no avail. Basically for us to be good this year we have to hit many threes. We don't have much of an inside game at all and we will hurt there by any team with some inside players. For us to win we simply have to shoot a high percentate of 3S.
UTA drops theirs to Robert Morris. In all of our losses except to Kentucky, we get down early, make a game, get close to even, then can't finish. So disappointing.
WKU 32 NC-Wilmington 24 at half. Northwestern St. 35 ULM 29 at half. Ga Southern loses to West Virginia 101 to 68.
Thankfully GSU's loss doesn't count against us. We've got enough bad losses on our own this year thank you very much.
The SunBelt has not had that big signature win in basketball yet, but with several new coaches in the league I think it will improve. Even though we got hammered tonight at West Virginia I have hope that we will start getting better for the first time in a number of years. We do have a new coach this year so I am hoping we will start turning a corner. Honestly if we can get to 13 wins this year I would call it a big success.
WKU finishes off UNC-Wilmington 73-58
ULM 84 Northwestern State 80 F/OT

ULM was down as much as 18 points in this one into the 2nd half and stormed back to send it into OT and then for the win.

ULM was down to Northwestern St. By 18 in the second half and comes back and wins in OT. NSU beat Auburn the other day and is a pretty good team. I like this ULM team and they don't give up. Played Kansas tough, routed Samford, and now beat NSU to move to 2-1. That's about as many games as we won last year. Lol.

This is not the ULM team that the SBC has seen the past 3 or so years. As long as our players can remain healthy, things will be very interesting this season.
