Argyle is slimming

They are the only football team (that I know of) with argyle patterns in the end zones. May our offensive players wear it well, and often this Saturday.
I like their fight songs.
After many years of loaning ODU their color scheme (through the late 80's), they were smart enough to switch to ours a few years back.
But our silver trim still adds a little more class.

They are the most effective cheaters in the history of sports.
Larry Fedora is doing a wonderful job with rebuilding that program. Lookout in 2-3 seasons.

They have done a fine job of avoiding NCAA sanctions, even if there are dead bodies in their wake.

I've always been taught that if I can't say something nice, then I shouldn't say anything at all...therefore, 07-coffee3
I was pleasantly surprised when I checked out their "say something nice about odu" thread and found no disparaging remarks or backhanded compliments. 01-ncaabbs
We better start one of these for VCU now, that's going to take a couple weeks to think if anything.
UNC Chapel Hill was the first state/public university open in the US. UGA was chartered f1rst but did not start classes before UNC,

William and Mary was first privately funded but now is 15% funded by the state.

Yes, W&M is the second oldest institute of higher learning....but only went public/state in the early 1900's. UVA also stared as a private school but, check me if I'm wrong, Jefferson bequeathed to the commonwealth.
