Haven't awarded an "________ f'ing_________ " thread title to anyone for awhile and none to a men's hoopster since Jay F' ing Shunnar scored 16 to help us get one of our four wins in Gene Cross's second season. So here's Lauf, heat on the back of his head, ice on the front of his head and floor burns wherever there isn't heat or ice. And number 3 misses evetything in the second half and kicks the ball around like a second string point guard in a church league. Lauf spent almost ss much time diving on the floor as the one ref did. It was like watching T J Dunn reincarnated (I know, T J is still alive but you get it) . Not often that a guy plays fifteen minutes with one point and has the kind of impact on a game that Lauf did. And while he only scored one during the game, that shiner should help him score one after the game as well. Amazing effort tonight.

Heard the post game interview with Coach Kowalczyk, and he just gushes over this true freshmen's toughness. He states he is the toughest player he has ever coached.
Great praise for a player that plays the game the old fashioned way.
Great defensive effort!01-ncaabbs
6 rebounds in 15 minutes for a 6' 3" wing player off the bench is pretty impressive too.
Tough, smart D will always get you PT. Lauf is special.
Before the season, TK made it sound like Lauf was just an ok defender, maybe a little less than ok, but had the potential. But he played great tonight! I remember when he dove out of nowhere near half court to save the ball for UT.

Didn't Lauf hold Jabari Parker about 10 points in an AAU over the summer? If I remember correctly, he totally frustrated Parker.

Truly amazing!! Jordan is going to be special!
Jordan Lauf is definitive to Toledo Tough when it comes to Rocket basketball.
He had some nice assists that you don't expect a freshman to make. I was impressed with this guy.

If he lives.
There are a lot of reasons to get excited about this team. Lauf is an interesting player, a throw back if you will. This team is fun to watch and Jordan puts an exclamation to, as someone posted earlier, the tough in #toledotough

He replaces the last Mr. Toledo Tough", Reese Holladay, altho JL's performancce was a little more physical.

Very good comparison. Reese played larger than his size really battling on the boards. Lauf is almost playing smaller than his size taking on small, quick players shutting them down. It will be interesting to see how the defensive play of Josh Lemons adds to the mix. (I'm guessing he has some type of injury since he hasn't played since the exhibition game.)

Lemons is redshirting.
Add a couple inches and 20+ pounds and you would have a Dick Miller clone. Hope J. Lauf ends up being half as good as DM was. We know already how hard nosed and tough he plays.
