It's a nice touch to see these pop in your inbox. Next I'll be looking for an apology letter and a gift card to The Melting Pot from McGee.

I thought the email was a nice touch. I also thought that if we want to get to where we want to be basketball wise, we need to have a lot fewer empty seats than are in that picture.

Yep. Everybody needs to invite friends to the games.
My company sent a mass email to employees to give away four Bama vs Texas Tech basketball tickets. I was bold enough to take the opportunity to promote UAB basketball, so I hit "Reply All" and urged people to support UAB basketball and attached Coach's letter.

I was promptly reprimanded for doing so. 05-nono 01-lauramac2

That's a double standard, if you ask me. I don't care if they were "company" tickets. Screw 'em 03-pissed

I hope Coach appreciates it. Geeez.

Great job!
A proper response may have been to act like you didn't realize you were "replying all" & respond - Thanks, but I follow UAB. Here is why...
I don't think we will have trouble selling tickets in the near future. Haase is doing all the right things. He has recruited well, he's scheduling better, he gets out in the media and promotes basketball, etc etc. With regards to recruiting I like how he seems to want to lock down the top instate talent picking up guys like Madison, Lee, Calhoun, Sullivan.

The future of UAB basketball looks certainly the brightest since winning CUSA a few years ago.

03-lmfao Which Blue? Memphis Blue, MTSU Blue or Tulsa Blue? Say, "Doc", have you been to see the basketball team any? Tell me you're gonna be there when "The Wyatt Family" (Troy) comes to town.

Yep. What's bad is someone likely owns tickets to most of those premium seats, but choose to not attend. I feel as if I'm letting down the team if I can't find someone to give my tickets to when I can't attend (which is rare).
I know a long-time, 2nd generation season ticket holder (back to the BJCC days) and he will sometimes leave at the half (like he did against Rutgers). I voiced by frustration to him about that Tuesday morning. 03-banghead

That was kinda the point of the email anyway, right?

"Thanks, now help me fill up the rest of those empty seats..."
