What do you think of the new unis for this season? It's unique that we use an official logo instead of font... I like these new uniforms a lot. Seems like the jerseys may be a little tighter too... plus "CUSA" patch!

They are similar to the soccer kits.

honestly, I don't care for them. If we want to brand ourselves in the broad reaching conference we are in then Old Dominion should be on front of our jerseys so people know who we are. Besides I am superstitious and we have been terrible since we went to alphabet U on the front. I know, I know the talent is responsible, but as I said it a superstition. Put OLD DOMINION back on the front of the uniforms.
I've said multiple times that "Old Dominion" should be on the jerseys instead of "ODU". However, given that it's the official crown logo and not just "ODU" font, I think it's pretty sweet.
I like the women's font too:

I like the older unis with "ODU" on the front. The new ones look too cartoonish for me. Plus, the crown logo/initials are too small on the front. I think it'd be cool if the new state logo was on the shoulder as a small patch, or on the back above the name/number.
Not a fan of the new uniforms, they just doesn't look right at all. Give me the ODU font any day of the week, it was at least highly visible and identifiable.

Hmmm.... It seems like the State logo needs to be pretty large in order to look good since it's so intricate.
I really don't like the crown on the basketball uniform.
I really like the new uniforms. I think they look sharp!04-rock
I like our new floor a lot. I do not like the uni's. I'll repeat what the other guy said about having OLD DOMINION on them. however, I'd take ODU over the whole crown thing. the reason its unique is b/c it sucks and no one else would do that way. looks worse on our football helmets.
I like the sound of "Old Dominion" better than ODU - sounds more classy, as if to invoke a little more respect from the speaker. Therefore, I prefer the jerseys to read "Old Dominion," as well.
Love the unis, hate the floor. ASeveral peo0le on this board used the same state concept and put together a much more attractive logo, using the lion as a back ground. The nrew state logo has way to much undecipherable mess in it.
I smh at this design. The OLD in large font.

Mostly agree. The floor is OK, but the old floor was much more attractive and useful in getting the brand out on TV. Sometimes, cool or different isnt the smart or functional solution. There's a reason people in that business say "form follows function".
Always liked these uniforms. Classic, Classy, easy to read.

I agree too much mess like: Richmond, Harrisonburg, and Blacksburg.

When did we stop putting names on back of the jerseys?
I like these Uniforms much better than the generic ODU font. I'd prefer the Old Dominion on the front, but this is better than having an O and a D that look almost exactly the same.

The floor looks great as well.

That was last year and I hate it. We talked to Karen Barefoot about it last year and how much we didn't like it. The Ladies have names this year, but not the Men. I don't get it. I think it looks cheap and generic with no names.

I like the VA floor.

I like the look of the Nike uniform tailored fit (rather than baggy, loosey goosey)
I think the ODU crown logo looks bad on the FB helmets and now front bumper of the jersey.
I always felt that someone bought that ODU crown bumper sticker from the Bookstore, stuck it on a helmet, and called it good.
"OLD DOMINION" on the front of the new Nike fitted jersey would be ideal.
