I honestly had never heard of the school before they were on our schedule. Gene and I wondered last night where they were located in Florida. Googled it and found that they are in Jacksonville and was founded in 1972 and they have over 16,000 students.
I realized I was wrong later after telling you I thought they were located in Tampa. Anyway, they have a pretty darn good basketball team.

When you told me that, I was thinking then that either you or whoever named the school must have been high or drunk. How the hell do name a school in Tampa, North Florida?

university of SOUTH florida is located in tampa. it's in the middle of the state. but back when it was founded it was the farthest south school.
That was what I was trying to recall. They need to be Middle Florida now.
Then I suppose UALR could be called "Middle Arkansas University."
Middle Arkansas University. I'll have to think on that one. Doesn't quite have the ring of Middle Tennessee. We can't be Arkansas and Arkansas State is taken. Has to be a name that will fit better than Arkansas Little Rock. How about Bill Clinton University. We could be known as the "Is's"!
