- I do think Dallas is ready to turn the corner
- Maybe the Jets will do a little better then that
- I hope you are right about my Bears!

You didn't think we would just roll over for the Patsies now did you?

Bit, You're starting to scare me, We think waaaay too much alike. 04-rock
The thing is you can't beat and haven't for a while.

IF both teams stay healthy the Patriots are IMHO still the team to beat in the National Football League.

Maize, I respect you, but We didn't play because the Pats didn't make it through to the Championship game. 05-stirthepot

Believe me I am NOT a Patriot fan but they have your number. You caught a break when the Broncos knocked them off.

They are not a good matchup for the Steelers.

The Patriots are the ones who caught a break. They would have received a real beating from the Steelers in last year's playoffs.
I don't think the Pats could have beaten the Steelers through their stretch in the playoffs. Yes, there was some luck involved, but it was all going for the Steelers. But we'll never know, since it didn't happen, we'll just have to agree to disagree. 04-rock

Maybe but they did beat the Steelers last year in Heinz Field and if you would have played them in the AFC Championship Game it would have been @ New England.

Maize, To be honest with you, I'm glad the Steelers had to play their playoff games on the road. The past few years Heinz field hasn't been good to them during the playoffs. I will remind you that the Steelers did go to Denver,Cincin and Indy and win. I'll give you the fact that the Patsies did have the Steelers number and did beat them earlier in the season, but IMHO I don't think the Patsies were as hungry as the Steelers this time.

Very true. The Steelers have lost more games at home than on the road in the last few years. Heinz Field would have been emptied by the 4th quarter, except for the die hard Steeler fans. 05-mafia

Bengals at 8-8??

Call me a homer, but I seriously believe the Bengals are the best team in the NFL.....ASSUMING Carson Palmer is ready to go week 1.

We don't lose a starter on either side of the ball, add Antonio Chatman as our #4 reciever and punt returner and Reggie McNeal who will be our Randle El.

On the defensive side of the ball, add Dexter Jackson and Sam Adams. Dexter will start at safety and Sam Adams will start at DT, both will help the defense immensley. And also our best defensive player, Madieu Williams returns from missing around 12 games last year. Also Jonathan Joseph will be our new nickel corner.

This team is loaded and assuming Carson is healthy, will make a run at the Super Bowl.

That is why I have them at 8-8, that was a devastating knee injury and I can't imagine he will be right by week 1.
Based on the SI article, I'm confident Carson will be back.
