Great game, but like the men they just could not finish it with the final score not reflective of how very close the game was. Great effort ladies.
Very disappointed with the loss tonight. Either VT has vastly improved from last year or we are just not as good as everybody thinks we are. I realize, it's early in the season. But, darn, I thought we would definitely beat the Chokies. Oh well. I will say, SG is heck of a player.

I didn't make it to the game, but I will say there are a lot of new players on the team, and a lot of talent, therefore it may take a little while for everything to mesh properly, but when it does, watch out.
I went to the game. Team will probably win around 20. If they made foul shots tonight they could have won. Still need a little depth down low. Gardner is great but she needs a little more supporting staff. Very well coached, lots of hustle, just can't shoot alll that well (sound familiar?)
New kid from Memphis, can't remember name (sounds african) is gonna be a player, nice size, good moves , will own the paint before to long.
Tough game. KB needs wins against good teams. ODU only beat one Top 100 team last year. That has to change in the next two years. She is recruiting at a high level, but talent only gets you half way there.
I was there. free throws and shot selection were the reason we lost.
Lots of season left. No need for chicken little yet. Sometimes you need a loss to improve your game plan. I think this one hurt. Odu wbb will come out fighting the rest of the season
I would also throw in boxing out. Too many times we just didn't put a body on their big girl (can't remember her name).
We are pretty young as well. I think you'll start seeing results soon.

What's deal with the Defensive End that we signed from DC? Is she redshirting? Sounds a little raw on the offensive end, but she can definitely rebound.

She is very raw and I expect her to redshirt. KB has mentioned that they need the freshmen to play this year, but I don't think she was talking about Ajemba.
Double "O" #34 Odegua Oigbokie is looking good for a freshman, I thought we should of played her more. She had 9pts and 4rebs in just 12min. The game was closer than the score, with 8 lead changes. We're a driving team who gets to the FT line and we need to make them count. Our shots weren't falling either, shooting 37% from the floor isn't going to get it done most nights. It was a disappointing lost and hopefully the young team can learn from it. We also need to figure out how to attack a zone defense.

She can't redshirt she played against Delaware state
