"Beginning next season and through 2018-19, any men's basketball game Memphis plays at a C-USA school - or on a neutral site, if the C-USA school owns the rights to broadcast it - will be worth half a NCAA tournament share directly to the Tigers, up to a maximum of two a season.

In 2013, NCAA tournament shares were worth $245,500..."

It never hurts to remember where you came from and help them out.
Sweet...line up some combination of UTEP, UAB, and USM...preferably the latter two.
drop the cupcakes and schedule USM, UAB, UTEP, maybe even Marshall...
Start each season with the Memphis versus UAB 'Gene Bartow Classic.' No more excuses.

I like that. If USM can keep Tyndall and UTEP Floyd, they'll both be solid. Shame WKU isn't what they once were.
Playing UAB will be great.
Would be nice to see USM and UAB again.

play the minimum number of games needed to get the exit fee off the books as well as the RPI killer games when playing CUSA teams. Play Southern Miss twice at neutral site Landers Ford (formerly DeSoto Civic) Center or whatever it is called now.
Money. Cash money.
MTSU
Old Dominion.

+3. Southern Miss twice plus UAB is a winner. We could dump 6-7 teams that I can think of (Austin Peay, Nicholls St., Northwestern St., A-LR, SEMO, Jackson St., Lemoyne-Owen), and get paid for replacing like half of them?! Hear ye, hear ye…….
I like MemphisBlazer's idea...Memphis v. UAB in Tupelo (Bancorpsouth Arena).

Only reason to play them.

Don't forget the double miles on the Capital One Visa.
I posted this in another thread but it goes here:

We spent years as a fan base praying to not have to play those schools. Now that we don't HAVE to play them we should not whore ourselves out so they can fill their little high school gyms.

Maybe if they double the price....

No card in my wallet with Alec Baldwin as a spokesman.

Would take UAB and SUM everyday than give the local SEC schools access to the recruiting market by playing them.
