The Golden Flashes travel to Temple's Liacouras Center on Monday night to take on the Owls as part of ESPNs 24 Hours of College Basketball Tip Off event.

Temple defeated in-state rival Penn 78-73 to open the season on Saturday. Senior wing Dalton Pepper led the Owls with 19 points, junior guard Will Cummings scored 18 and 6'9 junior forward Anthony Lee had a double double (12 points, 12 boards) in the victory. Lee will surely give KSU's bigs all they can handle

Temple's ten man roster features two freshman, three sophomores, four juniors and only one senior. This is certainly not the same team that came to the MAC Center last season as only four major contributors return from the 2012-2013 squad. Many Temple fans are calling this a rebuilding year for the Owls in the "American Conference."

Can the Flashes find an edge under the basket with five returning post players? Are Kent State's guards ready to run with Temple's new look backcourt?

Kent State 73
Temple 66
*Brewer scores 21 and Spicer grabs 10 rebounds
I remember Dalton Pepper. He's in my avatar.
So... Was Dalton Pepper on the West Virginia BB team when we smacked their a$$?
Temple opens at an 8 point fav.
I was at the Penn-Temple game on Saturday. The Flashes better box out because if the Penn game was any indication, Temple will be all over the offensive glass.
What was up with Mel Tabb Friday night ? Was he in a walking boot ??

I see the answer now, on the first game string. Should have looked their first !
I am very excited to watch KSU's post players tonight. Temple is going to have plenty of muscle under the basket. I am hoping somebody (or somebodies) take on a junk yard dog approach.

+1
lets go fellas!
Anyone know why the live stream on the MAC's site is not working?
not really running an offense, so to speak.
Going to give up 100 at this pace.

I don't think they would stream an ESPNU game.
4/16 shooting and we are getting killed AT THE RIM! Too many chippies....
Goodson has looked downright awful...
ugly stuff
By replay we have given up at least 12 pts. in the paint.....Tabb needs to be bigger and Henny needs to stay out of foul trouble. Tabb's best game as a Flash was at Xavier early last season.
If this is how the season goes, I might boo at some games this year.

I will defend Goodson tooth and nail!
