Lee took an official visit to Alabama in late October and received in-person recruiting visits this week from both UAB and SMU.
Maybe a good thing for UAB. We shall see.
Wow, what pressure the young man must be under... but this does look good for UAB, he didnt commit to anyone else...
Especially when UAB visited him this week.
The other two major programs in this state are in turmoil. Alabama had to go to overtime to win their first exhibition game and Auburn is a hot damn mess. Both coaches are most definitely on the hot seat.

This is a major opportunity for Haase to jump in and be a major recruiting factor in this state since he's staying put for the foreseeable future.
It is amazing how the internet experts know more about where this kid plans to go than he does, maybe he should contact one of them to get clarification.
Its a big decision. Should he pick UAT and the escalade or SMU and the Audi?

Gotta love that this staff concedes nothing...
I think it shows that the choice is difficult which is a good thing. If were completely sold on anyone he would have already committed. I do think his decision will come soon. I just think he didn't want the pressure of a deadline today forcing him into saying something he doesn't mean. I can respect that he intends for his commitment to mean something.
Has SMU been in the picture before?

It's got to be something to have a legend like Larry Brown in your living room

First thing they do is google who Larry Brown is.
Basketball players know who Larry Brown is.

I think you extremely overestimate what current 17-year-old basketball players find relevant.
They know him from the NBA, which many of them watch religiously.

I think you underestimate 17 year old basketball players.

Otherwise, how is Brown bringing in all these great players if no one knows who he is.

Oh, ok, a hall of fame coach and the only coach to win a NCAA, NBA title and Olympic Gold has nothing to do with it.

The top point guard in the country is going to A non basketball power in a non elite conference because of a coach who has no head coaching experience.

Gotcha.
I thought he played for the Celtics.
A quote from William Lee regarding Larry Brown:

“It shocked me,” Lee said of Brown’s visit. “I was asking myself, ‘Is this really Coach Brown? Coach Brown really came down here to see me?’ That was the biggest surprise. I was just looking at him in awe — it was crazy.”

I rest my case, your honor.
