This, by far, is the most interesting and meaningful election of the night.
Results? Link?

Positive Rep me and I'll vote for Obama in 2016
Colorado voters crushing the school tax ballot measure 2 to 1 against.

The state tax on marijuana is also passing nearly 2 to 1 for.

There are only results in on one of the 11 counties so far considering secession ... and secession is WINNING nearly 60/40.
The fracking ban ballot measure is losing in Broomfield County, CO.
There may be hope for Colorado yet.

I'd guess the ban vote falls along the same lines as the 'secession' vote?

Btw.. is the secession vote supposed to be a binding vote?
Secession vote is meaningless.

Note these counties were begging for help during the floods.

It is a vote that will require the counties in question to seek secession. That would then ultimately require it going through the US Congress and the Colorado Assembly. But as usual, those who laugh at this sort of thing seem to be ignorant of history. West Virginia was born in this exact way.

It happened during the Civil War, but it was a result of most of NW Virginia having few to no slaves and so they wanted nothing to do with being lumped in with the rest of Virginia.

it was more a case of VA being punished for succeeding. and there where never be a situation like that ever again
Sedgewick County Secession: 43% for ... final count

Sedgewick: 1,045 ... they claim a 63% turnout rate which I'd find to be implausibly high.

Lincoln: 1,850 ... they again claim a 60% turnout rate which also seems silly high.

Doesn't a potential state have to have a lot more folks than those few counties?

Negative. The only constitutional requirement is that a state's parts be contiguous ... which means Moffet County (NW CO) would have to join Wyoming or Utah because I don't see anybody letting a county become a state.
