Was talking to a person in the FB program, and he said Larimer will be ready for next season. Renovation should start in January and everyone has to move out to other areas of campus during construction.
From what I understand, the only areas that will be new are a bump out towards lot 10 where the weight room is and the second floor "deck area" that faces the field will be enclosed.
No new drawings until the new architect finishes them.
I hope they add seating for the band in the north endzone (but I remember someone saying they are not adding any seating in the north endzone, which is unfortunate). The ONLY thing I like about the high school stadium in Wood County is how they have their band seating connected to the Sebo Center.
ehh its ok, ONE DAY toledo will get over and stay over the hump attendance wise.
so its important that they already have all that "footprint" room to work with construction wise if they ever do expand the stadium.
they need to get ahold of cincinnati's PR guy or someone so the stadium can be filled with no issue and then some.
If the work is starting in January then the design concept has to be complete. Why the big secret.
Get the proper stone on it so it blends with the other blogs on campus

I for one, think the band is right where they belong. They are GREAT! Like the dance team with the band...really active, creative, high energy all the way. The band is 1000x's better than when I was on campus back in the J H days. Let them stay in the student section...moving them to the north end would not be a good idea, IMHO.

I have no insight on the project, but they may not have things set due to budget restrictions/in-progress fundraising. Maybe in January they are doing things that will have to be done (infrastructure, plumbing, electrical, floor replacement, etc) no matter what the final design ends up being.
Probably tear out mostly. I wouldn't think they would be excavating and pouring concrete for the bump-out in January.
