Holy cow!
The state of North Carolina is shaped exactly like the state of East Carolina!
I am not a geography guy, but that seems crazy....

No it's not we just include NC as well because a lot of our alumni have moved there.

Looks good.

Wow, that is a pretty blatant rip-off!

Get over it, the shape of North Carolina does not belong to ECU!

I prefer our Block S. Even as a Pack fan, ECU's looks far better than what is being shown as NCSU's version. But hey if anyone should understanding Pirating it should be ecu

Didn't NC State sue Nevada over either their name or their logo several years ago? And Loyola too?
11-01-2013, 10:08 AM
They could have. I know Iowa sued Southern Miss over the Eagle logo.

This is really going over your head isnt it.... we're not mad about the state outline, but we ARE the first school to fit the logo inside the borders in this fashion. Its the exact idea, not even changed a little bit.

ECU's version looks better
UCF's colors are a little too close to fleshtone for us to copy your idea. A black or gold colored Florida would look too much like a pen1s

NIB Pirate, I understand but several universities in the NCAA have there logo in their various state's outline. You do not have some novel idea just though up by ECU!

ODU did it with Virginia.

ECU's midfield logo is sweet. I can understand why they decided to copy it.

3 or 4 years after we did.
