No real surprise, he had no choice .............good to see it in print though.

McGee seriously needs to go out there and that QB in this recruiting class.
I'm sure that'll help our defense....
If we run ball control it will. If we sling it every down it won't.
Sometimes having a QB that leads the offense bleeds over & lifts the defense.
JP is a senior. I'm happy for him.

He had a committment that did so well, he got an offer from South Carolina, and decommitted.

That shows that McGee or an assistant did a good job of evaluating a guy and convincing him to commit. Unfortunately, we lost him.

I'm elated. Felt as if he should have been the starter all along. Brown's time would have eventually come, but I saw nothing wrong with Perry's game. He's a great passer, and definitely more mobile when need be. Hope he's the spark this team needs to turn the remainder of this season around.

+1

This will change nothing.
I'm happy for him too. Illl be happier if he takes us to win #3 this weekend.
I don't fault McGee entirely for the defense. That has been beyond terrible since before he arrived. I do expect improvement on defense though.

But our offense isn't fantastic and is probably regressed from even a year ago. We might not be able to stop a lot of CUSA offenses but they shouldn't be able to stop us as much as they have. The stagnation of the offense certainly falls on McGees shoulders.
If McGee decides to run the ball this move will be fine, I still think AB hands the ball off better. If AB was ask to throw after the run game has been established, that would be our best offense. Yet having JP only scramble and throw incomplete passes with an established run game is better than what weve been doing. So since McGee isn't willing to run the ball with AB in, Maybe he'll change his mind with JP in. 03-lmfao

Not according to today's interview with Drew.........sounds like he plans on slinging it around with JP too. Drew kept asking him about the RB's and he (McGee kept mentioning the WR's).

Looks like the game will be out of hand by halftime this week too. If its gets bad, we'll leave after the band plays at halftime. Hope it doesn't get to that.

Still, a "house cleaning" on the defensive side of the ball may be in order for this team. The emphasis of their future recruiting endeavors should be on the defensive side, esp. DL's & LB's.

Today at the press conference:

"At that point, the score was 17-zip, but that happens in football games. That when you turn the ball over at point blank range, that happens, but I thought our offense was moving the ball well enough that we would turn this into a shootout. Then obviously they kicked the ball off, we fumbled the kickoff return, make it 24-zip. But in reality, I said 'We'll be fine'..."

I do.
Unbelievable. He says more crazy stuff than Roddy White on twitter.
