Filling in for Georgia Tech Swagger on this Thursday night.

MTSU beating Marshall 51-49 on this play, a walk-off TD was amazing.

Mississippi State 28
Kentucky 22 is a little laughable.
Kentucky is wretched this year. No surprise there. The Blue Raiders beating Marshall at home is a mild upset. Winning in dramatic fashion no less.

Neither score is laughable. Both games were close, and none of the teams were world beaters. IMO both games were excellent games for TV, especially the MTSU-Marshall game. That game was undecided until the final seconds had already ticked off...
Marshall is one of the few teams I enjoy watching lose. They have got the most arrogant group of fans on this message board by far. And you would think they would have done something in conference USA before beating their chest so much in the pre season.
I enjoyed seeing 'em lost last night too, TC. Although my reason differs from your's. The wife and I had a bet riding on it...
Can we go ahead and put the score for Clemson at Maryland here? The line is about -16 for Clemson. I will go ahead and predict they will by at least 30. Not going to be the 63-0 FL State whopping but still will not be close.
NonQualifyerU loses.... what a shocker. Can't build your team around borderline illiterate players and ex-convicts and expect to win. That only happened in the Replacements with Keanu Reeves.

Diggs and Long being out with broken legs ain't going to help the Terps any. Those 2 are the best offensive players on the team IMO...

Troof.

The sub should know how this thread works.

Kentucky blows, but at this point, they should be showing some semblance of competing. You know, the "freshman are now sophs this late in the season" idea. The other game was just some silly pinball match. (No hate, but 60-55 type games are so passe now.)

The bad thing about this week is that there aren't really any compelling pillow fights to highlight. I mean...Western Meekchicken v UMASS? No.

I'll be eyeballing Abilene Christian possibly winning in Las Cruces and making off with a payday, to boot. Got connections to folks who (have) attend(ed) to ACU. Just sayin'...
Wake Forest 7
#7 Miami 0

Remember ... the criteria for a laughable score:

- FCS over FBS
- Non-AQ over AQ
- Non-Ranked over Ranked
- A Vegas line being blown WAY out of the water (more than 3 TDs wrong roughly)
And this qualifies...

Wake Forest 7
#7 Miami 0

Houston 42, Rutgers 14. I think the Vegas line on this was Rutgers by 7.
Minihaha over Nebraska.

Jerry Kill is a great coach; its a shame that he isn't able to be there.

Here's our first upset of the day, unless Nebraska, by some miracle, scores 2 TDs in less than a minute...

#24 Nebraska 23
Minnesota 34

EDIT: It just went final...
#9 Clemson 6
