Glad to hear Kemy is back and that he's in the mix for minutes this year. I still think he has a lot of upside for our program. Not good that Will was injured again. I'm just not sure we can count on our big buys for an entire season. Seems they're always hurting a foot or a knee or a shoulder. I would be more optimistic if I knew for sure that Will and Gus could play at full strength all season.

Sometimes it appears to me that big guys tend to be overly injury prone. Don't want to be politically incorrect, but in a sense guys that are 7 foot tall (or there abouts) are "freaks of nature". Most human beings simply are not that tall. Maybe they grew too fast or have some bodily weakness due to their excess height (and maybe weight). May be way off base, but it would be interesting to see statistics regarding injuries rates between 6 ft basketball players and 7ft basketball players. It's not a controlled research study, but I think there is little doubt that, over the years, we have had more injuries to our big guys.
I figure you are correct there. If nothing else, there is more weight, and therefore more momentum on the joints.
