Thundering Herd heavy favorite on a cold, cold night in Murfreesboro.

Something tells me this will be a curb stomping. 38-0 MU.

This video would have been a lot better if they could computer generated some fans into the stands. I hate seeing how empty the Floyd is, it's embarrassing.
Something tells me this will be a tight game. MT putting a lot into this game. MU is a poor road team. MT has injury issues on the OL. MU's offense is stinking it up but the D had been dominate. Whichever team can be disciplined and hold onto the football will win this one. A TD or less separates the winner from the loser.

I wouldn't be so sure. I wish it was going to be just to calm my nerves but our offense still does not have an established deep threat, still starting our 4th string RB becuase of healthy and disciplinary reeason, and our offensive line has turned into a mash unit where we only have a 7 man rotation now. Plus Bill Legg wants to be pound it out team and eat clock intsead of playing uptempo where we excel.
If I had to describe MT's defense in one word, I'd say 'physical'. Should be a good game.

Yes because that last game you played vs FAU inspired so much confidence 01-wingedeagle.

You're not going to need one. Our DB's give 15 yard cushions. You only have to block long enough for a receiver to get 8-10 yards down the field and you'll still have five yards of separation. Should be the easiest game Cato will play all year.

You are insufferable. Do you stalk Marshall fans just to dispute what we say?

God I can't wait another month for your vacation from the board to start.

They wanted it to be life-like. I will be surprised if we have 15k butts in seats. Damn scheduling did NOT work out for us...
SJ is a jerk for sure but I dont see Marshall beating MTSU bad I will be happy with any win especially on the road.
Mods can you bad SJ. I mean seriously. All this guy does is troll and stir the pot. Every other ECU fan for the most part is civil and open to friendly debate. This dude just trolls threads.

No it did not. I know some might laugh at this, but the #2 and #3 high school teams (both in Murfreesboro) in the state are playing about 2 miles from Floyd Stadium tomorrow night. Won't be surprised if there's 10k at that game. We have the "SEC" of TN high school football played in our county. It's on TV as well. Should take a hit in the stands for sure.

Looking forward to a great game regardless.

And as stated earlier, damn cold. Other than when we played Mississippi State, 10/17/2013, game time temp 45, attendance 23K) we don't draw well at all when the temp drops below 50.

Tomorrow the high is supposed to be 55 at 3PM. Sunset is at 5:58PM. By 7PM, the temp is going to be 49 and dropping.

Planning on layering up and plenty of anti-freeze (Jack Daniels).

That's unforunate. I really wanted a big time atmosphere on national TV from our conference.

I was surprised when my friend and I got 4 seats on the 50 yard line (2H I believe), 5 rows up, for $17/each on StubHub. I'm guessing between 1-2K Marshall fans will be there.

If you have that many fans, you will have brought the most of any travelling team in the 1-A era other than Miss. State and Tennessee State.

C-USA made us lose a section on the fifty due to a rule where students cannot be behind the visiting team. That's why those seats are open. They were not available to season ticket holders, either.
I fully expect this to be a close, hard fought game. MTSU may be having trouble, but this is on their home field, they've lost a few games of late, and they will be hungry. Plus the Herd is not the greatest road team ever, and our offensive play has been inconsistent. No one should see this as an easy win...for either team.
