UAB comes back from down 1-0 at half to win in Tulsa 2-1.

Tulsa was the preseason pick to win C-USA and last week was receiving votes in the NSCAA Top 25 Poll. Only our third victory in 14 matches against them in men's soccer.

Karl Chester makes his presence known with an assist on the game tying goal. Very good to see his name back in the box score.

Great road win.
YES!!!

First time UAB has trailed at halftime all season.
Special season. Hope they finish out strong.
The rest of our games this year are going to be tough, but if we can win out we should have a really good seed going into the tournament.

I thought we were down at the half against Indiana. They must have scored right at the beginning of the second.

I'm just going by the quote near the bottom of the article.
That's a huge win for UAB. It's really a shame we couldn't hang on at ODU now because that would have us in exceptional shape. We still have games against the 1st and 4th place teams, along with a game against bottom feeder Marshall. We also have a game against College of Charleston. Hopefully the team wins at least 2 of the games, and is in great shape for a bid in the tournament.
How does the soccer tourney work? How many bids and how many at large?
It's 48 teams, 16 of which are seeded. It would be a shocker if we didn't make it based off our body of work so far. 23 of the spots are auto bids, so that leaves 25 at large teams. We have a really good chance to be seeded based on our schedule.
There's a guy over at College Soccer Forums that does a bunch of rpi projections.

Here's his tournament projection: Link
