I haven't followed the SBC until this year now that we are to join soon, but does pretty much every team have at least 1 Tues/Thur game normally per year?
No.

Oh, you mean one or the other, or in some cases both. Then yes most get at least one.

The top teams coming in yes preseason...The bottom 3 or so usually do not get a weeknight game....

The conference usually has 2 Tuesday games a year, and a couple of other weeknight games [Thur or Fri]. ESPN choses which games to show. This year and last UL had both Tuesday games, last year against UNT and ASU, this year against WKU and ASU. ULM had a Friday game against Baylor last year. UL and Troy play on a Thursday this year.

Short answer: ESPN choses the games.
ASU has one of each this year and both are home games. They are tough for attendance but better for the team to play at home in a midweek game in my opinion.
If the Sunbelt wants on tv thats the way it is got to be.

Let me know what channel I can find El Paso and North Texas, but first I have to get a pen an paper to write it down. Is it before or after reruns of the World's Strongest Man that they purchased from ESPN?

Its better than being forced to play on a Tues. night...Tuesday nights are not made for college football period...

Only the nationally recognizable teams get the games. ASU and UL seem to get the most. Troy, WKU, and ULM seem to get a game a year each.

My guess is that if you guys get one, it would be a Thursday Night game, which admittedly are not as tough to plan around as Tuesday Nights for some.

WKU hates the games...but I can never complain about an ESPN or ESPN2 national telecast.

I count three. I know ULL has at least three. WKU has at least 4 if you count ESPNews games.
It will be interesting next year to see if any of the 4 newcomers gets a Tues/Thur game on an ESPN network.

I doubt it, of course having a bad team was part of it, but we did not get an ESPNU game until season 3 of FBS besides one game at MTSU in our transitional 2 year period when we won at MTSU....Did not get any home ESPN games until last season...Being on ESPNNews Twice this season I think was more about BP and his story.....We had 4 ESPN games and than we will have one on CBSSPORTS Network when we play at Army....Every other game has been on ESPN 3...
Eh, I like the Tuesday night games. Usually lot of chatter about the games on Twitter from the national writers don't have to listen to people complain about missing because of junior high football. Sucks just as much to get up and go to work on Friday as Wednesday after driving two hours home after a game.
Yeah, I agree, I am fine with Tuesday football. Its an odd night, but there is no competition from High School sports, and its on a main ESPN Network. We're also the only thing going on that night with all the Pro Sports on off days, and no other college game taking place.

Free attention, even if we do have to sit through a 15 minute halftime special about whoever Alabama is playing that next weekend.

Not a problem for home games!
