wow, that seems out of left field. I hope the kid ends up happy.
UCF fans...what's the skinny on this anyone know?

You know about as much as we do.

Supposedly, football wasn't "fun" anymore.

He was a true freshman too.
Just wish he had realized this week before last.

LOLOL
No specific details, other than he wasn't enjoying playing football anymore. He was an up and coming as a freshmen, for sure. His first start ever was against Memphis couple of weeks ago. So it's not like we lost our best player, but he was showing a lot of potential.

Hmm, so I'm guessing this doesn't have many real implications for our game against you?
He got scared of Louisville. It's easy to see how that could happen to anyone.

I'm surprised we even bother to play the game. There's no way we can possibly contend.
I'm hoping it's something as simple as he's homesick or something like that, and that he can get past it. If there's room, I'm sure GOL would have no problem taking him back. But, sometimes your passions change. He may really be done with football. Whatever he does, good luck to him.
He was definitely our most promising DE and one of our most productive players despite playing DE at 225lbs. He destroyed memphis and was in the backfield whenever he wanted. Big loss for UCF imo, but if the kid doesn't want to play there isn't much you can do to convince him.
Maybe he just doesn't like GOL.

if so then we should see him on the field somewhere else. He is definitely good enough to play at pretty much any team in the American. Memphis saw first hand how good he is, Fuentes is probably already on the phone with him.

That's what I'm speculating. He will probably find love at another school, or not. These things happen.
Life has to be rough down in Orlando, working hard for the man... errr mouse evry night and day. I can see how playing a game could lose meaning to an 18 year old.

Get off your phone and get to Epcot someone threw up.
if hes going home USF should be a good option :D
these guys usually go back home and play at a smaller college.

We had a 4 star RB from Oklahoma that got homesick as a frosh and quit. He now plays for some directional Okla school in D3
