Andy Katz is reporting that there is a proposal for there to be a mini SEC-BE challenge the next 4 years. Under the proposal, there would be 4 SEC-BE games every year, and every BE team would appear in the challenge once every 4 years. Sounds kinda cool. We could play Downey or AK. That would be fun. Also, at the BE meetings in Florida in 2 weeks, coaches are expected to complain about only 12 of the 16 teams getting into the BE tournament, but Tranghese isn't expected to budge on that ruling.

Lets play UK in the challenge! I agree everyone s/b in tourney or have a couple play in games...All you have to do is have the four seeds play the fourth game and it works. Good deep teams can afford to do this. Their was a lot of grumbling about teams left out in NYC this year.

The Big East board reported some of the same thing a couple of weeks ago. Nice! I'm glad Mick has got us with some weapons at least. We have a fighting chance if thrown into a series like that. It's so nice being in an elite conference!
