One of the greatest reasons we need to give him all the tools he needs to be successful here.

Congratulations to DB (and family)

+1
So what would any of you say are the tools Coach Bailiff needs to be successful? This isn't intended as an exercise in acrimony.
One is to get him better funding for his assisstant coaches. The other great one is faclities, built and on the ground and quick. Its amazing he's done the job recruiting that he has done without the latter. The new AD needs to get on this and pronto!
Congrats to Coach Bailiff!
This is why, I assume, there is still support for Bailiff despite the up and down (mostly down) results he has produced. He has done a fantastic job with all of the non X and O's while at Rice, and it's good to see him get some recognition.
Combined with the story on KHOU about having special needs kids at HRS the day after the UH loss shows all the good things about Bailiff. Even helping new students move in each year is something you don't see at other schools. While I am often critical of Bailiff in his coaching I would never criticize his impact on our players lives or in trying to make things a bit better for those less fortunate. Well done Houston Press and Coach.

Tiki - any of your posts being deleted? There appears to be some forum gremlins randomly deleting posts.

Not random at all. There is nothing sub-par or undeserved about this aspect of David Bailiff. If you'd like to start a thread to that effect, you can do so in the smack forum and not on the main board.
