This splits both Greenville and Spartanburg into different districts. It splits Columbia into three districts. It splits Charleston into two districts. And it makes most counties home to multiple seats.

You should try to keep like geography together and group by county as much as possible. Here is our current lines:

Sadly, GSP is becoming so populous it is too much for a single congressional district now. I suspect next time around Greenville west to GA will become a district and Spartanburg east to Charlotte/NC will become a district.
Interesting. Just visited the rangevoter website. I didn't see the short line demo but it was an interesting site. Anything to bring moderation to both sides.
Splitting Birmingham, AL into 3 congressional districts won't fly. It may not be Alabama's largest city in 2020.
The perfect is the enemy of the good... If a state wants to nuke the hell out of their districts let them do it..
