well, I wouldn't mind watching West Virginia or Saint Louis or Wisconsin or Richmond. It's a shame they have to be playing a less than stellar opponent!
I don't even think I get CBS Sports Network as part of my package, would have to pay extra to have it.
I'm sure VCU and Mason will get picked up but that was my initial reaction as well. How much of this is the move to Conference USA and how much is it 5-25?

My bet is on 5-25.
On another note, we actually have a nice home schedule in conference.

My guess is VCU will have A LOT of regionally, if not nationally, televised games this year. They were on quite a bit last year and I dont see that trend slowing down anytime soon.
The A-10 has been good to them (not to mention a top-25 status).

USA Today has been good to them too picking them to make the Final Four this year.
I bet we get more games on CSN. these are just the national games that are scheduled. we're on espn maybe once or twice a year when we were good.

14 of VCU's 16 conference games will be nationally televised on ESPN/CBS Sports Network/NBC Sports Network. 5 will be either on ESPN or ESPN2 (@La Salle, @UMass, Richmond, Saint Louis, @Saint Louis).
Right now we'll have 21 national TV games including the OOC schedule. @UVA will be on ESPN2, Florida State on ESPNU (chance for 2 more ESPN2 games in that tournament), Virginia Tech on NBC Sports Network, @Northern Iowa on ESPNU. Boston College at Barclays Center will likely also be picked up by a national network but hasn't been yet.
The A-10 TV deal kicks in this year and it's been good to VCU exposure-wise.
I've just resigned myself to the fact they won't be very good this year and will go out and support them anyway and enjoy watching them play.

My initial thought....if ODU is 14th out of 16 teams, how BAD are the other two teams below us?

That's just someone's opinion. In all actuality we may be the worst.

A lot of people said that last year, but still came on here and bitched about their performance. I understand that no one thought it would be quite as bad as it turned out.
