Some of us saw Coach Cronin being interviewed today in Akron for the KJ Classic. My question to O or Marcus or really anybody with any info is, does this mean that the visits for today and tomorrow fell through?

I don't think it necessarily means that. I don't have any inside info, but with the game being in the afternoon, Mick could still make it back in the evening to host the recruits. It is possible that the other coaches are hosting them, until Mick gets back into town to meet with them. I know that Jamar Smith said he might not get into town until monday. Maybe they changed their visit date, who knows. We haven't heard anything to indicate that the visits aren't happening, and I can't think of a reason why they wouldn't. i don't think because Mick is still in Akron this afternoon, that the vists have been cancelled. JMO.

He's only in Akron, he can be back on campus within the day.

I dont' think Mick being in Akron has anything to do with the visits this weekend. Chances are he either a) he took Marvell to the airport with him this morning, b) Marvell left last night, or c) flew up this morning and came back this afternoon to see Marvell off.

Kids know how it works with recruiting, especially when a big tourney like the King James is going on the same weekend as their visit. I do know Marvell was really looking forward to the visit and going into Friday wasn't sure if he was going to piggy back a visit to Wake in or not.

it might be possible that the recruits visited with Coach Cronin and toured UC saturday. I am sure that Mick has made sure that he will be with them if they did visit.
