While I don't have the handy stats and analysis for the volleyball team that I do for the soccer team, it's about time they got their own running thread for the season, especially now that they've won seven straight and are the only team still unbeaten in conference play.

Megan Devine set the program kills record in the first game of the year and has been adding to it ever since. She had 18 against Lipscomb in ETSU's 3-2 win tonight. She leads the league in kills (2nd in per-set numbers, first in total). Meredith Hardy leads the league in blocks, and Jamie Rutledge is second in assists. This team has a really good shot to win the conference again.
Make it nine straight, and they've won their last 7 sets.

Meredith Hardy has set the program record for block assists with 346 and counting.
Twelve of their last thirteen. They're 10-1 in conference and sit in first place outright with seven games to go. They can clinch their tournament berth Tuesday with a win over Kennesaw.

This is has to go down as one of, if not the best volleyball team ETSU has ever assembled. Devine, Hardy, Rutledge, and Muey are all definitely going to have their names in the record books, and Wiley might end up there before her career is done, too.
Volleyball went to 16-1 in conference with a win tonight over UNF and earned at least a share of the league's regular season title, meaning they get rings. They can win the crown outright tomorrow afternoon against Jacksonville.
Volleyball enters the tournament as the #2 seed after falling 3-0 to Jacksonville. The loss snapped a 15-game home winning streak.
