He sure looked good in the 4th quarter Saturday. I'm glad he had a solid showing after a rocky start to the year. Austin looked like he was thinking too hard at times.

I know it's not popular, but I still think our alternating QB thinger is the way to go. JP was the man for the job Saturday, but this week Austin could light it up.
I'm with starting Perry, he's a senior, he's more mobile. Austin can take the reins next season and beyond, but this year should Perry's...IMO.

I thought that way last year, but I've come around to the idea that AB fits what McGee wants to do better.

JP can evade the pass rush, but he then makes HUGE mistakes when he's in trouble. In the past, he would have run for yardage, but McGee must have told him not to do that because now he waits to throw. Then it is a pick!

AB has the arm to make the throws McGee wants. He lacks the consistent play we want, but when he's on, he looks great.

I'm not 100% sold on either guy, though.
I believe our future starter is red shirting but that's just an opinion.
I hope our future starter is from Mortimer Jordan starting in 2014

Well it suck that's he out for the season, where have I seen this before.
He was red shirting any way. He still needs to develop.

You must not have watched the game last Thursday night.

Ive seen him over the last 2 or 3 years in a few games, as well this year. Should make at least 3 more of Jordan's home games. He's a victim of un-athletic teammates and clueless coaches.

I watched the game. He has the skills to be a starter, but I don't think he would be ready next year. I would love for us to sign him. I think he is going to develop nicely.

I agree with last part. Coaching seems to be getting a little better. John Carroll looked pretty horrible too.

Agreed, He's the best qb weve offered in 2014. Just got to convince him to switch by getting Wins.

Kid can play........he's already flipped once, so there is hope.
Maybe we can win 6 games with inconsistent QB play to make it look like we desperately need a QB.

Way to go out on a limb there Sherlock. The future starter is usually a red shirt. LOL 05-stirthepot

I remember saying the exact same thing myself a couple of years ago. My username was formerly Uab_Blazer.
Lol
The redshirt future starter was 0-10 in the spring game.
That's why he is red shirting.
Mike Miller looked like a stud compared to 4-star.
