What is Archer's status for the game? I know he's been out a while. Anyone have details? Looks like he played yesterday but not too many touches.
He played yesterday. Had like 14 touches.
I thought the line would be 10-13, so not too far off. Archer is back, but not sure if hes100%
He had 10 touches for 121 yards. So pretty typical of Archer. He's obviously a scary opponent. I'm fairly certain they use the same strategy as last year against him. Have Ward cover him.
NIU should win this game.
If NIU manages to start 5-0, with 4 of the first five on the road, 2 of them on the road against the big ten, it's got to be considered one of the best stretches/season openings in NIU history (the beginning of 2003 is probably more significant).
Where do you see this line?
I thought the line would be 11.5. Kent is getting a kick from Archers return. He is their X factor, and he is skewing the money in Vegas.

I can see where Archer playing could move things a lot. Think about it - a defense that sometimes doesn't cover somebody - you lose Archer in the secondary and he's gone, unless the pass is underthrown and he has to wait for it.
The game plan will hopefully for NIU to stack the box and force them to throw it.
I actually guessed line would be -10, so pretty close.
Spread has made a decent drop down to NIU by only 7.5 or 8 points. Late money = smart money?
