I went 7/10 in week 4 I misjudged how good Memphis and Ole Miss were and how incredibly sub par our poor boys at Georgia state are... Here we go with this humble mountaineer's predictions:

Future sun belt:
Saturday 28th 3:30 PM EST GoASUTV
Appalachian State University Mountaineers
Vs
Charleston Southern University Buccaneers: App State win. If recent history is worth anything then I'll be correct and there is a reason we scheduled them for family weekend, they may be 4-0 but I believe we will be their first L

Saturday 28th at 6 PM EST
Georgia Southern University Eagles
Vs
University of Tennessee Chattanooga Mocs: Georgia Southern win. well I will say I have seen a lot of geo south and app state fans talking mad smack about the Mocs and I pretty much agree, I don't think it will be a steamroll but the Eagles definitely get my vote.

5:00 PM EST
University of Idaho Vandals
Vs
Temple University Owls: Toss up: both teams are not pretty both haven't won yet but I am going to lean Idaho, this is simply because temple lost to Fordham University which is at best a par FCS team.

8:00 PM EST ESPN3
New Mexico State University Aggies
Vs
San Diego State University Aztecs: toss up: yet another close one but I'm going to lean San Diego State, I would say San Diego is also without a win simply because they have faced pretty good teams, New Mexico State has been pitiful.

Current Sun Belt

12:21 PM EST ESPN 3
University of Southern Alabama Jaguars
Vs
University of Tennessee at Knoxville Volunteers: UT win: I really like The Jags and besides the loss to that FCS team they have been solid, but UT is not as weak as last year so I'm seeing the Vols winning.

2:00 PM EST ESPNW
Western Kentucky University Hilltoppers
Vs
United States Naval Academy Midshipmen: WKU win. WKU is a strong team, some mistakes have caused grief but in the overall they are strong, avoid the turnovers and it is a win.

3:00 PM EST ESPN3
Troy University Trojans
At
Duke University Blue Devils: Toss up: Duke isn't much of a football school and it's not beyond the realm of reason that Troy could win, I lean Troy in this one just because football is more important at Troy then Duke so their heart will be in it even more

7:00 PM EST Long Horn Network
Texas State University Bobcats
Vs
University of Wyoming Cowboys: Texas State win. Texas State has continued to impress me this year Wyoming had a relatively close matchup with Idaho, now that they are facing a stronger sun belt team I believe it leans in SBCs favor.

7:00 PM EST ESPN3
University of Louisiana at Monroe Warhawks
Vs
Tulane University Green Wave: ULM win. ULM is a fierce team and I trust their players will go into this hungry, I've found the SBC teams are at peak efficiency against CUSA teams so it should be a good fight with SBC on top.

7:30 PM EST ESPN3
Arkansas State University Red Wolves
At
University of Missouri Tigers: Mizzou win. ASU is good but I have little doubt Mizzou is better especially with the results from last week.

Only thing ASU has going for us is that we have received a lot more poor press than usual this week. Lot of blow back from losing to Tiggerville, and it didn't help that Missouri newspapers are writing previews talking about how horrible we are.

ASU wasn't pretty against Memphis I was hesitant to call it so heavy for Mizzou but they are doing really well and coming off that Memphis game it will be hard to be energized going into Mizzou
