So concussion or no concussion, he probably won't be playing basketball this year regardless. I hate it for the young man. I wish he would have stayed on as a team manager, which I believe was offered to him, since that may have helped him if he wanted a career in coaching.

From Taggart's Mom's Facebook page:

"Well surgery not good, it was way too big for this dr (he doesn't specialize in what Taggart needs) so he stopped the surgery, & is sending him to a specialist that does lateral condyle transplant. So we are on our way home now."

"They were pretty sure of what it was and dr cruise could have done the surgery if it were a small lateral condyle lesion but when he got into surgery he found that it was 3 times bigger than he originally thought so he stopped the surgery and is sending him to a specialist.

That's a shame. He's a tough guy for sure.
