Great win today. We look better every week and after 4 years of suckage it's awesome to look like a dangerous, competent team.
However, let's keep our expectations rational. We are still young and lacking depth. Let's enjoy watching our Tigers grow and be competitive. If they lose to UCF lets not freak out.
My expectations are the same now as they were last week. 3 wins and stay competitive. So far so good. Anything better is just icing on the cake.

I'm not going to lie, I was down on this team after the MTSU game. But you're right, they've been competitive in every single game. Fuente's teams don't get blown out. They're getting better.

I'm not going to lie, I was down on this team after the MTSU game. But you're right, they've been competitive in every single game. Fuente's teams don't get blown out. They're getting better.
I understand the sentiment. However I was excited after the MTSU game. I saw a team grow in the 2nd half. I saw a team that dominated its opponent but hadn't learned to win. That made me excited.
We'll beat UCF by 2 TD's.
This was a good win, we exercised some demons and beat a team with a winning record decisively. UCF is great, and we'll have to play really well to be competitive. Just enjoy the games. BTW...UConn is curb stomping Michigan right now and Rutgers beat Arkansas. Yeah, this conference is pretty good.
We're short of depth on OL and WR, so let's just enjoy the wins. I still think 4-5 wins is possible.

Huge win today. Just stop for a second and try to imagine the mood if we had lost and were staring at UCF next and going in 0-3.
Fuente and staff are making huge strides. The running backs looked great, QB can really sling the ball, OL opened up holes, defense is playing inspired ball. Play calling has a nice mix.
This team may not finish above .500 this year, but we're headed in the right direction. We're still a work in progress, but I feel more optimistic about the football program than I've felt in a long time, maybe ever.
Everybody just needs to have a little patience. Fuente's going to have his teams contending for conference titles in the next couple of years.

We (team/fans) need to learn to win again. I kept thinking please please, no late heroics by AS or a collapse by the Tigers. I was only able to relax once it was totally clear we would win. Its been so long since I have liked a Memphis FB coach as much as this one. Always wished them well but Fuente is like this team. Will only get better.

Curb stomping Michigan? It's 21-14 UConn right now. We don't play Rutgers in football this year. We should win against UTM, @USF (0-3), Temple (0-3), @UConn (0-2) and SMU (1-1). Houston is pretty good but they aren't really blowing teams out. Playing them on the road though. We win those 5 and we become bowl eligible. Pretty doable. Of the other teams that we play UCF and Cincy at home and Louisville on the road. Play like we did today and we will win some games.

You would have been entertained today. I know that you enjoyed your time with your daughter and spending max time with your kids is the most valuable time you'll invest anywhere.......but today was a lot of fun.
