I don't care if it is going to rain or not. There are seats up high where you can avoid the rain if you want. WE, the fan base, need to show up tomorrow!

I'm bringing Mrs. Dragon and all four of our little dragons including the 4 month old, who will obviously be taking in his first UAB Football game. We're planning to have a good time, regardless of weather. My older kids are fired up about the game.

They've been complaining about UAB not playing at home yet, so now they're stoked! They are 9 and 6, and the 0-2 record hasn't diminished their spirit one bit. I'm proud of their love for our school. For them, going to the games is fun, and none of them can remember the "good times" of UAB winning games because the oldest one was 1 year old the last time we had a wining season. Yet, it's fun anyway.

For me, it's all about family and friends. But I can't wait to see how much more fun it is when we start competing for bowl games and championships. It starts tomorrow!

We'll see y'all there!

Rain or shine, I'm driving down from Chattanooga this afternoon. Go Blazers!
Going to purchase a new rainsuit @ bass pro after work!
The crowd that went to the Troy game was impressive/loud. We will make some noise tomorrow!
Me +2. My daughters first game. We just hit snoozys pretty hard
I'll be there..I've never used bad weather as an excuse to miss a football game. Blazers better show up to kick *** , though.
I will be there Saturday. Still trying to talk my wife into going. She is not a football person, but I hope seeing our alma mater play will change her opinion.
I hate "Lesion" Field as much if not more, than anyone, but I'm going to be there for our team!

#ShowUpOrShutUp!
The only time I havent shown up was when we had to play undefeated Houston on Homecoming and they put up 70+ on us. I was already looking to shove Callaway out the door. I guess sitting through the Memphis game was just as bad as watching that same Houston game on TV. The only problem was I couldn't change the channel. Hopefully those days are over.

It wasn't quite 70 I think it was 56.

It sure felt like it.
I will be several thousand miles away.... I know... lame excuse.
A four month old is too young to be out in a rain soaked football game. Check your priorities. But whatever.
The rain hopefully will be over by the time the game starts.

Most of the recent stuff I've seen seems to reflect that idea. There may still be some showers lingering in the area around 2PM, but I doubt it's a downpour from kickoff til the final horn.

Really? Says who?

Plus, there are multiple ways to avoid rain at Legion Field and see the game (seats up high or a skybox if you have access, which I do).

My priorities are checked, thanks.
As I said, whatever.

Even if it isn't raining, I wouldn't take a 4 month old to a game. THIS IS MY OPINION!!!!
There will be loud noises, you'll be distracted and have a cranky baby bothering those around you. You most likely have to leave early. The baby won't remember any of it and is the memory of Baby's first game any different is the age of first game is a little later.

I just think the risk is greater than the reward, but you obviously think different.
Hope it is a pleasant experience for you and those around you.
