I was unaware that a start up program meant you had to start with all freshmen players. Why can't "JMU take Jr. college transfers"? They take transfers from VA Community Colleges. Someone needs to teach this clown how to tie a tie so it doesn't go down past his crotch!

Yes both MM and Lamecock are big turds. For a while I had mixed emotiins regarding JMU moving up to FBS football. As a football fan I sympathized with them. I just think it is a bad position to be put in to have your school spend $62M on a half a stadium, building anticipation, and then see those around you leaving your program in their wakes. After becoming more familiar with the general arrogance, and pretentiousness on their board I now hope they stay stranded at the fcs level forever.

That is made even more ironic given that JM Poo claims NoVa as it's "home" market and the salaries are significantly higher there than anywhere else in Va.

Matthews talked about ODU's JUCO transfers, but he really missed the boat on why ODU was more experienced when JMU and ODU first played in 2011.

While JMU is playing Charlotte in their first year on the field, the Dukes were playing the Monarchs in ODU's third year on the field in 2011. Since ODU's first class was recruited in 2008 (We didn't play that first year.), a large number of ODU players were in their fourth (senior) academic year as redshirt juniors in 2011, and another large group were in their junior academic year.

However many JUCO transfers ODU had, it was a small part of the reason the Monarchs put an experienced team of upperclassmen on the field.

MM is a near perfect douchebag and i can't believe reading JMPoo fans claim that monarch nation want to be like them both academically and athletically. Note to JMPoo nation assuming they hear with their douche filled ears (filled by bojo MM) that monarch nation is already in a better stage than you guys are and has no intentions of emulating JMPoo ever.

I know this is been bludgeoned to death on many occasions over the years but as I get ready to get in my car and drive home from work, I know I am in for more brutal radio.

In our effort to build a brand that includes a regional radio network, the local clowns are not making a single contribution other than to carry the games on Saturdays.

So now we all have to pay for on-line Pilot content (I know...it's a business) and we might as well be invisible as far as local TV/radio are concerned. So how do we reach new fans? Don't think social media is the answer.

We are the only FBS game in town. It's time local media (outside of Harry) continue to push if they want great stories to cover down the road.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go find something else to listen to instead of a 3 hours recap of last nights riveting Bears/Giants game.
