Anything positive for UAB usually brings the bammer mouth breathers out in full force........anything about our OCS plans makes them go ballistic.

I've like seeing those billboards and thought it was the best campaign since "Football in your own backyard". Hope it works.
But what's really sad is that even with the mouth breather, bammer jerk comments, there are only nine reactions to a story about UAB football.
Therein may be the most telling comment of all.
We have reached a good point, that we have haters. No one hates Samford or JSU because they don't see or perceive them as a threat. Its a point that we must survive and get past.

That is between 5-7 more than usual............at least a few comments. A lot of the time the Jacksonville and Samford articles get no comments at all.

Samford has put together a pretty good team though.....better than in some years.

You are (partially) correct. The number of comments on an article is only a portion of how you judge support for the team. But of all the ways you judge support for the team, the best way will be butts in the seat on Saturday.
