Now, don't shoot me, but I'm going to ask about the shooting guards that Bearcatlair is listing as having interest in UC. Anyone who has seen these guys give us some input as to if they could play for UC and if they can shoot the 3.

Chris Poellnitz - Toledo, Ohio - ranked as a 3 star recruit. They show only 2 schools in the running for him, UC and Florida State.

Josh Guillory - Tucker, GA - ranked as a 3 star recruit. They show 7 schools on his interest list - the two highest interest are Marquette and Southern Cal, then UC, Georgetown, Georgia Tech, Iowa State, and Pepperdine.

Jarvis Hill - Bridgton, ME - 3 star recruit. 8 teams all dead even right now - Arkansas, UC, Charlotte, Miss St., Ole Miss, Southern Miss, Tulane, Tenn

Casey Mitchell - 6'4" 225, 3 star recruit, Savannah, GA - UC, Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia - big guard, looks like he's built like Rudi Johnson

Cordell Pope - SG, 6'5" 170, Birmingham, AL - UC, UConn, Georgetown listed as high interest, then UK and UCLA as medium interest. Big kid for a shooting guard. Can he shoot the 3?

If all equal would take the Ohio high school kid...gets Mick rolling in state
with high school kids. Something we have all but lost in last five years.

I don't believe Josh Guillory will be eligible to play College ball next year. He moved from California to Atlanta last summer and was tearing up the AAU and HS season, but for some still unexplained reason took off in the middle of the HS season to go back to California leaving his best friend (who moved from Cali with him) and sister in Atlanta. Then before he even put the right paperwork in he played a game with his old HS and became ineligible.

Casey Mitchell is headed to Prep School. His interest in UC went out the door when Legree resigned.

Hill and Pope are definitely UC/Big East caliber players.

Cordell Pope is probably going to prep school also.
