Well, I'm going to say that Fitzgerald and Revis need to be starters. Otherwise, I guess I can approve. My particular qualm is with Revis not being on top.
Matty Ice > Philip Rivers
Darrelle Revis > Antonio Cromartie

Dwight Freeney > Darnell Dockett
Tony Fiammetta > Greg Jones
Larry Fitzgerald finished second in the Heisman Trophy balloting as a sophomore. With all due respect to Andre Johnson, who was terrific at the U and has been excellent in the pros too, he didn't have anywhere near the impact at Miami that Fitzgerald had at Pitt. In the NFL, it has been very much the same. Calvin Johnson hasn't even been Houston's top offensive weapon - Arian Foster has. Conversely, when Fitzgerald has actually had an NFL caliber QB to throw the football to him (Kurt Warner), he has been dominant and nearly lead Arizona to a Super Bowl championship back in '09.

Today for example, he gets Carson Palmer - who is at the end of his line as a starting caliber NFL QB but is still 10,000 times better than such luminaries as Matt Leinart, John Skelton, Ryan Lindley, Josh McCown and Kevin Kolb - and bingo, Fitz puts up eight receptions for 80 yards and two touchdowns. If that guy isn't a starter on this team then I don't know who is? I get that, like Johnson, Portis is a Miami guy and all that but that is pretty glaring to me.

Even more egregious is to put Antonio Cromartie ahead of Darrelle Revis. Ask any NY Jets fan who was that team's No. 1 corner when they played together and not a single one would say Cromartie. In fact, at that time - and perhaps now too - Revis was considered the best corner in the entire NFL.

Also, Philip Rivers over Matt Ryan? On which planet? And Darnell Dockett over Dwight Freeney? Puh-lease.

Finally, as a Steelers fan, I can assure you with great certainty (and frustration) that there has to be another former ACC LB ahead of Lawrence Timmons. I am a defender of Timmons to my fellow Steeler fans but he looks the part much more than he actually is the part, if you know what I'm saying? A look like Tarzan, plays like Jane type. That's a little too harsh because Timmons does have his moments but Ahmad Brooks has definitely been a better pro and so too have been others.

I should hope not, since he plays for the Detroit Lions!

If you want another LB I nominate Jameel McClain from 'Cuse. Starter for Baltimore. Sadly he's been plagued by injury recently. Getting injured late last season and out for the first six weeks of this season.

Also ACC teams have put a ton of top receivers into the NFL.

Calvin Johnson, GT
Larry Fitzgerald, Pitt
Andre Johnson, Miami
Reggie Wayne, Miami
Mike Williams, 'Cuse
Demaryius Thomas, GT
Hakeem Nicks, UNC
Anquan Boldin, FSU
Torrey Smith, UMD

Cough cough Elvis Dumervil cough cough 03-shhhh

Can Sebastian Janikowski and Devin Hester get some love for special teams?
Not too much to complain about.

Dockett is a DT, not an end.
Gore is better than Spiller and McCoy.
11 of 14 schools represented (Duke, Cuse, Maryland). That must be why Cuse fans are complaining.
Johnson, Boldin, Wayne, Fitzgerald and Johnson are 5 super legit WR from current ACC schools.
In the next 5 years Miami's NFL representation will really drop as many current players retire.
It's also no surprise a Miami player comprised 1/4 of the rosters from fellow Miami players.
Marge, in Arizona's defense he plays defensive end. In a 3-4 defense, you often play a tackle at end. Or if you are Baltimore, you play three nose tackles, with two of them at end.

Although he had a down couple of years, I think Mario Williams on name recognition should have been considered at DE, but without a second team listed it's hard to complain. I'd probably put Larry Fitzgerald above Andre Johnson, but that is nitpicking.

The only glaring weakness is at QB. Give me Matt Ryan over Rivers. Ryan at least gets to the playoffs. Rivers' teams don't start playing football til mid October. Hell I'd take Michael Vick over Rivers. Technically we could even put Joe Flacco on the list since he did spend time at Pitt for a season.

That's true about the Cards playing a 3-man front, but they even list Dockett as a DT on their depth chart. Doesn't matter much either way, Dockett is one of the better current ACC DL regardless.

I forgot about Williams, myself. Good call there.

And I also forgot to say I'd have Ryan over Rivers. Rivers is good, his teams just always underachieve. Some of that was coaching. What's his face was awful after Schottenheimer. Norv Turner, that's his name.

Well on their depth chart they list him as an end, even if you click on his player card where he is listed as a tackle

I only noticed this because last year when I was looking at my Raven's depth chart, I noticed that of the 8 players listed as a nose tackle of defensive end, 7 where naturally defensive or nose tackles and were over 320lbs. Helps explain why Ray Lewis could play so long: no offensive linemen ever got past the linemen to touch him.
