It will be interesting to see how #25 Maryland does against #8 FL State this weekend. If they hang with FL State, then we can at least feel justified in that ODU ran up against a wrecking ball that weekend. UMD certainly put it on UWV, who turned around and beat a ranked OK State. I saw one Top 25 poll that had ECU getting a few votes, too.

When does the new schedule come out for cusa?

So if Maryland and ECU can keep it up ODU may be able to snatch a couple of backdoor moral victories.

The debacle in Maryland wouldn't be a moral victory even if they beat Alabama for the national championship.

I wouldn't call UMD a moral victory. If anything, it slightly alters the perspective.

Maryland is vastly underated this year. They are simply a better team. And when you have a TD taken away and turn the ball over 3 timeas as the inferior team, its going to get out of hand. We are building, but we aren't at that level yet.

It would not shock me in the least if they beat FSU....they are really good. (Problem is it's at FSU)

We were outclassed, outplayed, and out-coached against a visibly-superior team. I can accept that.

Harry responded the new cusa schedule will be out sometime late oct or nov.. can't wait to see it.

Wrap your head around this one. Alabama beat GA State by LESS than FL State beat UMD. App State lost to the Citadel in OT and Ga Southern lost again.

Alabama, pulled most of the starters after the 1st quarter. No joke!

What's up wit App, have they won a game this year. I am surprised. When they starting posting on the slumbelt board. back in June .......the fans ranted about how they could win the slumbelt now.

App State's only win was over future CAA member Elon, 31-21 in week 4.
