I didn't see 3 consecutive turnovers by WKU happening though. This is getting ugly now.
WKU holds Tennessee to a FG. Frankly, the Hilltoppers should consider themselves lucky that it's only 17-3.
Amazingly, WKU committed a 4th (FOURTH!) consecutive turnover, and Tennessee capitalized with another TD. Score is now 24-3 Tennessee, and we're still in the 1st quarter.
In all my years of watching college football, I don't think I've ever seen a team commit 4 turnovers on 4 consecutive plays until today.

OMG.....WKU just did it AGAIN! Another offensive turnover. This marks the 5th turnover in the last 5 offensive plays for WKU. The TV announcers are saying it may be an all-time NCAA record. And we're still in the 1st QTR!!!

Tennessee only has 72 yards so far but 31 points. If we don't turn the ball over (and yes that's part of the game), we'd be in this easily.

That says it all right there. To a much lesser extent, this is what happened to LA Tech last week in our loss to NC State: turnovers.
