who would the QB/runner? Just curious if we have any athletes on the offensive of the ball that could fill that role. Not a big fan of the formation as a whole but it does seem to provide a nice spark and change of pace. I thought it helped MSU when they ran a few plays out of that formation last week. Also gives defenses something else to prepare for.
Our OC is known for running a lot of wildcat. I have been to a few practices and have yet to see it. Maybe he doesn't have that guy to run it yet. You would like to have a rb that was a high school qb or at least very good ball skills. Some coaches like to use taller guys but Alabama has run it well with shorter backs like Ingram and Richardson. You would also like to have that second guy that can make the jet sweep off of it be a real threat.

Once defenses know about the wildcat being part of the opposition offense, they usually crush it now day.
Kimbo nailed it, only problem is, the two guys with any sort of sweep-like speed were Wilson and Braverman, so i don't see us using the Wild Bronco too often
