I have a feeling Sam will stick to football, in much the same way that Shaq is sticking to Basketball. I was hoping to see him play, even if it was only in garbage time.
I thought he was listed on the two deep?!

This year he should probably focus on football. Next year if he wants to play there will probably be a bigger need for him.

He is listed for football but not for basketball.

Craft must focus on football until it is over. Then he, his family, and the coaching staffs will evaluate whether he is able to handle the academics and the amount of work that is required of him. Pookie is going to be a redshirt this year; we have plenty of guards.

My reason for creating this thread and posting that link don't have anything to do with these players or the amount of playing time they will be getting. My question was if Sam Craft was still planning on playing basketball this season, since he was not on the roster of the official website.

If he is going to play receiver on the football team I really don't see a reason for not practicing with the basketball team...

It seems reasonable to me that the explanation is that he is not currently on the basketball team. He is conducting football team activities now, and is not doing anything with the bball team. Since he is on football scholarship and if he does join the bball team it will be after football season is over, there is no reason to put him on the roster at this time. He's not involved with the team right now.
