Absurdly early.
We lose our first game, and we are automatically eliminated from the BCSNCG. Our season is lost. 03-banghead

I know. I was just showing not only how dumb 1st week projections are but, that they can't even get the conferences right.

Nice to see for WKU after being shut out preseason on bowl projections, but no way we are in New Orleans unless laf. and Monroe just completely bomb...I am hoping we can make it to Mobile but its still early obviously, haha...

It's not that they can't get conferences right, they're both just projecting the HOD bowl to have an opening and a CUSA at-large to fill it.

The NOLA bowl is contractually obligated to take the conference champ this year(must take champ twice in a four year window, last time they took the champ was 2010) so if you guys win the conference you should be in NOLA unless some deal is cut between WKU/SBC/NOB/some other bowl.... that satisfies all parties and short of finding your way into an at large in Nashville or maybe Birmingha m, I don't see a scenario in which you'd be okay turning down the NOLA bowl.

(BCS buster response from a WKU fan in 3....2....1....)
this is DUMB as in arse to even think about projections for the first week.....get any dice game like yahtzee or something and paste little names on them and you get just as accurate as these......By the way if WKU wins at Tennessee someone will have them in a BCS game next week...

HOF this year is Big 10 #7 vs CUSA.

Ah ha, conferences ties listed incorrectly...well that is a dumb mistake.

You actually think anyone from espn would put any Sun Belt school as a BCS buster in their predictions?

If so, you're deluded.
Miss. State won't be bowl eligible.
Neither will Vanderbilt.

The only time you would even see it would be if one of us was sitting at 11-0 heading into the last week...even then, its not a certainty. Belt teams will always have to prove them wrong.

I'd love for both WKU and stAte to be 11-0 heading into our game. Especially knowing that the home team has never won during the series.

People make all sorts of absurd statements after Week 1. stAte rolls over a depleted SWAC team and we get a vote and glowing articles and Harsin has job offers. WKU beats Kentucky and Petrino has job offers. TXST beats a reeling USM and they are the next coming of Jesus. ULL and ULM were the greatest the Sun Belt ever offered and now they are both dropped like hot rocks.
This stuff is just a waste of time this early in the season. Why do they even bother to do it?07-coffee3

Because people like us read it.
